I bought this set when my house was being built, so I could drill a variety of holes for running network cable. The one bit I broke was in a Maple workbench top drilling while laying uncomfortably underneath the bench, and bent it while spinning, which any one who has drilled in maple knows would break most 3/16 bits. Over the past 3.5 years, I have only broken 1 bit, doing a variety of projects, averaging out to about 1 every 3 months, and some being month long at a time. I have used all the bits except for the masonry bits, and can attest to the quality. Needless to say I was ticked that it broke, but I can't blame the manufacturer for user error. In my opinion, if you use the bits right, they will last a while for you, and the price when I got the set was more than worth it for the use I have gotten from it.
There is a good assortment of different drill bits in this drill set. Don't be misled by the 150 piece advertisement as some of the pieces are screws and wall anchors. There are about 50 or so drill bits of decent quality. They probably won't last forever but it makes a good starter kit.
A lot of pieces. However, what they dont tell you is that 60 of them are just plain screws and anchors. Not great quality overall. Price was good.
Excellent item, however because the final shipping address was outside the US the total cost was not worth what i have purchased
Since I am not a "tool user" so much, I asked my fiance what he thought of these, and he absolutely LOVES this kit. He thinks I paid much more than I did, this is a must for any "handy" guy. Great deal, and highly recommended.
